OK, so here we are. Today marks the beginning of the final semester. I am taking two classes and the comprehensive exam is scheduled for October 9-16. One class focuses on teaching information literacy while the second classes focuses on books and related materials for young adults. Both look interesting and have heavy workloads, but they have good professors, so no “professor regret” here, at the end of the line!
Luckily the comprehensive exam is just another paper. My understanding is that I am offered a choice of three topics. I have one week to do the research and produce the paper. Considering last spring I had to produce seven papers in one semester, it doesn’t seems that difficult. The important part is doing the research, which I no longer find difficult and producing a paper in perfect APA format, which I also no longer find difficult.
So I have to consider that although I am nearing the end of this road, it is just the beginning of a new adventure and another chapter in this wonderful life of mine!
